About South University Online Nursing Programs

South University Online currently offers two online nursing programs: RN to Bachelor of Science Nursing (RN to BSN) and a Masters in Nursing (MSN) program.  Both programs may be completed entirely online.

South University Online RN to BSN Program

The South University Online Nursing program consists of accelerated five and a half week courses, so earning a degree within 1 year is definitely possible with transferable credits from your RN license. Topics of the degree program include palliative care, gerontological nursing, complementary and alternative nursing methods. The nursing program also works on management skills including motivating and training nursing staff, responsibility delegation, decision making and prioritizing. If you are currently an RN, you may receive 45 credit hours through experience.

South University Online MSN Degree Program

If you have already earned your BSN and want to continue your education in nursing, consider enrolling in the South University Online Master of Science in Nursing program. Increase your knowledge and skills as a registered nurse, improve your management and teaching skills and learn to put your research skills to use with this South University Nursing program.

Online Master of Science in Nursing program topics:

The South University online Master of Science in Nursing program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Tuition for this program is $355 per credit hour. Like the BSN program, the Online MSN program may be completed entirely online.
